These error messages often occur in the Sales Information System in the
following situation:
In the info structure definition, you have selected characteristics
from a field catalog belonging to the sales document. The repsective
source fields of the sales document are now copied as default values
for the definition of update rules. This takes place for each key
figure in updating. If you now use key figures that are to be updated
when different events occur (sales order, delivery, billing document),
the event for the key figure and the source fields of the
characteristics copied as default values no longer match.
You now need to adapt the source information of the characteristics to
match the new event. You can use F4 Help to select the permitted source
tables and source fields. The following simple rule can often help:
The source fields are usually always the same (the well-konwn exception
here is the source field 'sold-to party' that is called MCVBAK-KUNNR
for the event 'saless order' and MCVBRK-KUNAG for the event billing
document.
very often, the source tables only have one letter that is different:
Event: Sales order Delivery Billing document
MCVBAK <-> MCLIKP <-> MCVBRK
MCVBAP <-> MCLIPS <-> MCVBRP
MCVBUK <-> MCVBUK <-> MCVBUK
MCVBUP <-> MCVBUP <-> MCVBUP
MCVBPA <-> MCVBPA <-> MCVBPA
