    The update rules of the assigned characteristics are not properly
    maintained for the key figure &V1&.
    The source table &V2& was used. This source table however is not
    available for the event &V3&.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Please specify a suitable source table for the event &V3&. By using the
    F4 Help, a list of the allowed source tables will appear.
    These error messages often occur in the Sales Information System in the
    following situation:
    In the info structure definition, you have selected characteristics
    from a field catalog belonging to the sales document. The repsective
    source fields of the sales document are now copied as default values
    for the definition of update rules. This takes place for each key
    figure in updating. If you now use key figures that are to be updated
    when different events occur (sales order, delivery, billing document),
    the event for the key figure and the source fields of the
    characteristics copied as default values no longer match.
    You now need to adapt the source information of the characteristics to
    match the new event. You can use F4 Help to select the permitted source
    tables and source fields. The following simple rule can often help:
    The source fields are usually always the same (the well-konwn exception
    here is the source field 'sold-to party' that is called MCVBAK-KUNNR
    for the event 'saless order' and MCVBRK-KUNAG for the event billing
    document.
    very often, the source tables only have one letter that is different:
