Message type: E = Error
Message class: HRPAYNLLA - Notifications for Wage Return NL
Message number: 449
Message text: Test mode: Return for LEPER &1 created, per. &3/&2 not actually closed
You have executed the report <ZK>Wage Return: Collecting Data
(Extractor)</> (RPCLAVN0), and the wage return has status <ZK>
Confirmation received/Close return</> in the B2A Manager. As a result,
the return is automatically closed in the <ZH>productive run,</> and a
new return is created for the next period. The return is not closed in
<ZH>test mode</>, which can cause different data to appear than would
appear in the productive run, especially concerning the collective
return.
In this situation, a message will appear stating that the current return
would probably be closed if you were to run the programme in productive
mode rather than in test mode.
If you do not want to have any differences, you must close the returns
using the B2A Manager or the report <ZK>Close Wage Return</> (RPCLAAN0),
and start the report <ZK>Wage Return: Collecting Data (Extractor)
</>(RPCLAVN0) in test mode.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Test mode: Return for LEPER &1 created, per. &3/&2 not actually closed ?The SAP error message HRPAYNLLA449 typically occurs in the context of payroll processing within the SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) module. This message indicates that a return for a specific payroll period has been created in test mode, but the employee's payroll period has not been actually closed. Here’s a breakdown of the cause, potential solutions, and related information:
Cause:
- Test Mode: The error message indicates that the payroll run is being executed in test mode. In this mode, the system simulates the payroll process without making any actual changes to the database.
- Payroll Period Not Closed: The specific payroll period for the employee (indicated by the placeholders &1, &2, and &3) has not been closed. This means that the payroll results for that period are still open and can be modified.
Solution:
- Check Payroll Status: Verify the status of the payroll period for the employee. Ensure that the payroll has been finalized and closed for the relevant period.
- Run in Production Mode: If you are satisfied with the test results and wish to finalize the payroll, run the payroll in production mode instead of test mode. This will ensure that the results are saved and the payroll period is closed.
- Review Payroll Control Record: Check the payroll control record to ensure that the payroll period is set to "closed" for the relevant employee. You can do this by navigating to the payroll control record in the SAP system.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific instructions on how to close payroll periods and manage payroll runs.
