What causes this issue?

One of the amounts provided in the XML exceeds the field length
available in SAP.

System Response

It is not possible to process the affected ELStAM record further.

How to fix this error?

Check the ELStAM record delivered for tax ID &V2& and transfer the
values manually to the master data as required. You can use the
auxiliary report RPUE2BD0, option "Display/Download", to display the
ELStAM data. To do so, select the options "XML Display" and "Display XML
Container", and enter the B2AID &V1&. In the displayed XML, the affected
ELStAM record is under the tax ID &V2&.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Example:
The XML has a maximum of 9 characters available for an amount in euros
for the annual exemption. However, in the master data of the infotype
Tax, only 7 characters are available for an amount in euros. If the
clearing house provides a higher annual exemption, there is a conversion
error.
