(additional remuneration in addition to continued pay).
If the continued gross remuneration does not exceed EUR 50, this amount
does not have to be reported in the remuneration statement (data module
DBAE).
According to Sec. 23c SGB IV, the regular remuneration that is
continuously paid during the period of entitlement to compensation be
nefits is liable to contributions if the total amount plus the
compensation benefit does not exceed the comparative net remuneration by
more than EUR 50 together. By contrast, if the comparative net
remuneration is exceeded by less than EUR 50 per month, it is not taken
into consideration and remains exempt from contributions.
It is, therefore, not necessary to enter amounts less than and equal to
EUR 50 in this field.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Only enter continued remuneration if the amount does exceeds EUR 50. If
the amount is lower, do not make any entry in field <ls>Gross
Remuneration</> and in field <ls>Additional Remuneration Beyond
Continued Pay</>, choose entry <ls>No Other Remuneration</>.
