Message text: No. of children entitled to bonuses IT 0021 and scale do not match
The report for creating the withholding tax accounting data according to
the EMP-ACI standard determines the number of children based on the
withholding tax scale. The system also checks whether this value matches
the number of children entitled to bonuses in the <LS>Family/Related
Person</> infotype (0021).
For the current payroll period, the number of children entitled to
bonuses, as specified in infotype 0021, does not correspond to the
number for the selected withholding tax scale.
The number of children according to the withholding tax scale is used in
withholding tax accounting (see <DS:SIMG.PAY_CH_QSTVD_0030> Assign
Withholding Tax Scale to Scale Code for XML File</>).
Check the number of children entitled to bonuses in infotype 0021. Have
you entered all of the children entitled to bonuses? Are children still
specified who no longer receive bonuses because you have restricted the
allowance entitlement in Customizing?
<ZH>Note:</> In this evaluation, the system does not take into account
allowance entitlement restrictions that you have specified in
Customizing (for example, that children older than 25 no longer receive
bonuses). We recommend that you delimit the data records of infotyp 0021
in such cases so that the <LS>Allowance Entitlement</> field displays
the correct status.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- No. of children entitled to bonuses IT 0021 and scale do not match ?The SAP error message HRPAYCH01013 indicates a mismatch between the number of children entitled to bonuses as recorded in the infotype (IT) 0021 (Family/Dependents) and the scale used for calculating bonuses. This error typically arises in payroll processing when the system expects a certain number of dependents based on the configuration or rules set up in the system, but the actual data does not align with those expectations.
Cause:
- Data Mismatch: The number of children recorded in IT 0021 does not match the number of children expected based on the bonus scale configuration.
- Incorrect Configuration: The bonus scale may be incorrectly configured, leading to discrepancies in the expected number of dependents.
- Missing or Incorrect Data: There may be missing entries or incorrect data in IT 0021 that do not reflect the actual number of dependents.
Solution:
- Check IT 0021: Review the entries in Infotype 0021 for the employee in question. Ensure that the number of children listed matches the expected number for bonus calculations.
- Verify Bonus Scale Configuration: Check the configuration of the bonus scale in the system. Ensure that it is set up correctly to reflect the number of dependents entitled to bonuses.
- Update Records: If there are discrepancies, update the records in IT 0021 to reflect the correct number of dependents.
- Consult Payroll Schema: If necessary, consult the payroll schema to ensure that the logic for calculating bonuses is correctly implemented and that it aligns with the data in IT 0021.
- Testing: After making changes, run a test payroll to ensure that the error does not reoccur and that the calculations are correct.
