Message type: E = Error
Message class: HRPAY99PM - Messages for HR Process Manager
Message number: 004
Message text: Text &1 not available in language &2, therefore language &3 is displayed
The &V1& text should have been read from the database in language &V2&.
The text, however, is not available in this language.
The system tries to determine the preferred language of communication
for the recipient. There are two cases to differentiate between:
The user of the recipient is entered. In this case, the system tries to
determine the personnel number using the 0105 - Subtype 0001 infotype.
Thereby, the language of communication is determined in the 0002
infotype. If this does not exist, the logon language is searched for in
the user parameters. If this is not found, the system uses the language
currently being used.
The email address of the recipient is entered. The system tries to
determine the personnel number using subtypes '0010' and 'MAIL' of
infotype 0105 and its language of communication. If the system fails to
do so, it tries to determine a user from the email address. If the
system fails, it proceeds as described under section one.
Otherwise, the language currently being used by the system is used.
Since the &V1& text was not available in the language specified, the
system has used language &V3& instead.
If the mail is in a language which the recipient understands, it is not
necessary for you to take any action.
If the recipient receives the mail in another language, you must first
check whether &V2& is the language preferred by the recipient. If this
is not the case, you should examine infotypes 0105 and 0002, and if
necessary, correlate them. You should then check whether the text is
available in the preferred language.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
