However, you cannot manually change the status of a record of the
<LS>Illness Reporting: Details (3250)</> infotype that has status
<LS>New</>, except to status <LS>Obsolete</>.

How to fix this error?

You cannot change the infotype status. However, you can make the
following changes:
If you want to correct a data entry error, change the incorrect entries
and save your changes.
If you want to delete an <LS>Illness Reporting: Details (3250)</>
infotype record, you must first delete the corresponding <LS>Absences
(2001)</> infotype record. For more information, see Customizing for
<LS>Electronic Notifications of Illness and Recovery</> under
<LS>Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) -> Update Illness Reporting: Details
Infotype (3250)</>.
If you want to exclude the <LS>Illness Reporting: Details (3250)</>
infotype record from further processing with the <LS>Electronic
Notifications of Pregnancy, Illness (RPTZKMN3)</> report, you must
change the status of the record to <LS>Obsolete</>.
