Message text: ME &1: Inconsistent SxP record between &2 and &3 (infotype 0088)
The <(>&<)>V1& SxP record is not consistent on this contract from
<(>&<)>V2& until <(>&<)>V3&.
It is legislation that the absences of an employee are consistent across
all contracts for the employee to receive Statutory Absence Payments for
Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay or Statutory Adoption
Pay.
This is the ME Solutions interpretation of the rule that an employee
must not perform any work on a day to be eligible to receive Statutory
Absence Payment. The fact that they may not be working on a contract
that does not have an absence is not sufficient. Not only are the Inland
Revenue guidelines clear that absences that start or finish on
non-working days must be recorded from that point in time and not from
the first working day. But also, it is not possible to generate absence
data from "thin air". For a contract, to be processed as eligible to
receive Statutory Absence Payments it must be absent.
A warning message is generated during the processing of the payroll for
this employee for each inconsistent SxP record split found during the
current payroll period.
Inconsistent SxP records are not eligible for Statutory Absence Payments
and so will not be processed by GBSXP.
The report 'ME Solution Check 2' (RPLMESG2) can be used to check the
consistency of the absences for an employee's various contracts.
All SxP records (infotype 0088) for SMP, SPP and SAP need to be
consistent across the contracts of the employee to stop this warning
message from occuring.
