  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The system evaluated an eligibility rule that uses the actual hours
worked by an employee, cumulated over the employee's
employment period, as an eligibility criterion. However, for this
particular employee, the hire date cannot be determined by the function
    module RP_HIRE_FIRE.
Either the <ZK>Actions</> infotype (0000) or the <ZK>Organizational
Assignment</> infotype (0001) cannot be read, or the function module
cannot infer a hire date from the data available on these infotypes.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Make sure the authorization profile of your system user allows you to
read the HR master data of the employee in question. If so, make sure
that the date stored on the <ZK>Actions</> infotype (0000) and the
<ZK>Organizational Assignment</> infotype (0001) is consistent with the
hire date algorithm implemented in the function module
    <DS:FU.RP_HIRE_FIRE>RP_HIRE_FIRE</>.

This error can arise due to several reasons, and addressing it usually involves checking various configurations and data entries.

    Causes:

    1. Missing or Incorrect Employee Data: The employee's hire date may not be entered in the system, or it may be incorrect.

      • Go to the employee's master data (transaction PA30) and verify that the hire date is correctly entered in Infotype 0000 (Actions).
