  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You attempted to modify a T51R5 entry through a report that uses
    <ZH>enqueue functionality </>for the <LS>Remittance accumulated posting
    data </>(T51R5) table.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    System Response

For reports that modify the <LS>Remittance accumulated posting data
</>(T51R5) table, the system requires the usage of enqueue
functionality. This enqueue blocks employees if they are currently being
modified by any of the following reports:
<ZH>Reconciliation of Remittance Posting Items (RPURMR00)</>
<ZH>Store Third-Party Remittance Evaluation Run (Update Remittance
    Tables) (RPURMU00)</>
    <ZH>Create Third-Party Remittance Acknowledgement Run (RPURMA00)</>
<ZH>Remittance Total Table View logic (V_T51R5)</>
It is important to mention that the enqueue functionality locks access
to Personnel Numbers when the key fields of the table T51R5 are being
used for any of the reports abovementioned.

    How to fix this error?

The system allows to lock employees if the enqueue functionality for
reports that modify the <LS>Remittance accumulated posting data
    </>(T51R5) table are being used.
    Example
You are running RPURMP00 report for a whole company code. The system
will lock all PERNRs within this company code. If you run the RPURMA00
report for a PERNR in this company code at the same time, this Company
Code is locked, and the report will not allow this PERNR to be processed
    throwing the error message.
The same situation happens vice-versa, if you run the RPURMA00 report
for a single PERNR in a company code and you try to run the RPURMP00
report for that PERNR`s Company Code at the same time, the report will
not allow this Company Code to be processed throwing the error message.

    Causes:

    1. Concurrent Access: Another user or process is currently accessing or modifying the same data, leading to a lock conflict.
    2. Database Lock: The database may have a lock on the entries due to a previous transaction that has not been completed or has failed.

    3. Review Long-running Transactions: Check for any long-running transactions that may be holding locks and resolve them if necessary.
    4. Authorization Check: Ensure that the user has the appropriate authorizations to modify the entries in question.
