Message type: E = Error
Message class: GR - Report Writer
Message number: 763
Message text: No key figures have yet been defined for table &
No key figures have yet been defined for the Report Writer table &V1&.
You would normally create new key figures by copying or changing
existing entries. If a key figure does not exist, the system
automatically creates a reference entry which you can then copy or
change. The reference entry itself is not stored.
For tables which are delivered by SAP, key figures are also delivered.
If these entries are missing, this could mean that all the actions
needed for the installation or release changeover have not been
performed. Inform your system administrator.
In FI-SL Special Purpose Ledger, you can create new database tables
when you configure the system. The configuration menu offers functions
which enable you to copy control table entries needed for the Report
Writer from delivered reference entries. This also includes key
figures.

- No key figures have yet been defined for table & ?The SAP error message GR763 ("No key figures have yet been defined for table &") typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP BI (Business Intelligence) when working with InfoProviders, such as InfoCubes or DataStore Objects (DSOs). This error indicates that the system is unable to find any key figures defined for the specified table or InfoProvider.
Cause:
- No Key Figures Defined: The most common cause of this error is that the InfoProvider (e.g., InfoCube or DSO) does not have any key figures defined. Key figures are essential for reporting and analysis in SAP BW.

- Data Model Issues: There may be issues with the data model or the configuration of the InfoProvider that prevent key figures from being recognized.
Solution:
Define Key Figures:
- Go to the Data Warehousing Workbench (transaction RSA1).
- Navigate to the InfoProvider in question.
- Check the structure of the InfoProvider and ensure that key figures are defined. If not, you will need to create and define the necessary key figures.
Activate the InfoProvider:
- If you have recently made changes to the InfoProvider, ensure that it is activated. You can do this in the Data Warehousing Workbench by right-clicking on the InfoProvider and selecting "Activate."
Check Data Model:
- Review the data model to ensure that all necessary components are correctly configured and linked. This includes checking the InfoObjects, InfoProviders, and any transformations or data flows.
Rebuild the InfoProvider:
- If the issue persists, consider rebuilding the InfoProvider. This can involve deleting and recreating the InfoProvider or making adjustments to its structure.
Check Authorization:
