  • What causes this issue?

You have entered the period frequency &V1&. However, this interval does
not match the complete planning period, since the last calculated period
to be planned does not correspond with to period &V2&.

    How can this happen?

You want to perform cumulative quarterly planning, and enter the
    following values for this:
    From period...... 1
    To period........ 12
    Period frequency. 3
The system now calculates the planning periods as follows:
    1st period = 1, 2nd period = 1 + 3 = 4, 3rd period = 1 + 3 + 3 = 7,
    4th period = 1 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 10 and 5th period = 1 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 13
However, the 5th period is greater than 12, and the system returns this
    error message.
To proceed correctly, enter the following values:
From period...... 1 From period...... 3
To period........ 10 or To period........ 12
Period frequency. 3 Period frequency. 3
