  • What causes this issue?

    You are trying to modify the item's breakdown category. However, this
    modification is not possible because one of the higher-level items in
    the item hierarchy requires a different breakdown.
    The following rules apply:
    The higher-level items may only contain a sub-quantity of the
    breakdowns in the current item.
    The breakdown type of each subassignment of the higher-level item may
    not have more restrictions as those of the current item, in this case
    with characteristic <ZH>&V4&</>.

    higher-level item in Master Data Maintenance, and select a breakdown
    category for the current item that meets the above requirements.
