  • What causes this issue?

You wish to maintain a venture or joint operating agreement (JOA),
however another user is maintaining the same venture or JOA or else a
    related JOA or venture.

    System Response

While &V1& &V2& is locked by another user, you cannot maintain the
venture or JOA that you are trying to maintain.
If a user maintains a JOA, all ventures belonging to the JOA are locked
because changes of equity groups on the JOA level can affect all
ventures belonging to the JOA. And if a single venture is maintained,
the JOA of the venture is locked for the same reason. So, a locked JOA
may prevent maintenance of a venture and a locked venture may prevent
    maintenance of a JOA.
Therefore, this message may be issued when maintaining either a venture
or JOA, in response to either a locked venture or a locked JOA.

    How to fix this error?

Wait until the other user releases the venture or JOA, or contact the
    person.
