SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: GD_ARCHIV - Messages of Function Group GD_ARCHIV

  • Message number: 183

  • Message text: Entries for a fast archive access via SAP AS are missing

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You want to access the archive using the Archive Information System
(SAP AS) but no selection was made using the fields defined in the
    related infostructure (such as: &v4&).
In this case, archive access using SAP AS is not faster than an
alternative method - the sequential reading of all archive files
without using the Archive Information System.
Entries are missing for at least one of the following fields: &v1&&v2&
    &v3&.
The more fields you enter, the more selective your entries will be,
allowing for a quicker reading of data via SAP AS.

    How to fix this error?

    You have the following options:
Check your selections, and if possible, make entries for the
    aforementioned fields.
If this is not possible, confirm this warning by pressing enter. When
reading the desired archive data, the system then reads all files
    sequentially (time consuming).
Check the aforementioned infostructure using the transaction SARI. If
the strucutre does not contain the fields you normally use for
accessing archives, change or enter these fields in the structure.
    Restart the evaluation.
