  • What causes this issue?

To be able to execute a reconciliation of data from totals database
&V2& in the system with RFC destination &V1& with totals data of
Consolidation, the system requires additional information about certain
data structures in the sender system. However, some of these structures
do not exist in the sender system, for example, because the
reconciliation program does not or does not yet support the sender
    system's release.

    System Response

    Program execution is terminated.

    How to fix this error?

In SAP Notes find out whether and, if applicable, as of which Support
Package the reconciliation program supports the sender system's
release. If such support is offered, you must import the necessary
Support Package before the reconciliation run.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message G3662 - Infrastructure in RFC destination &1 is not completely available ?

The SAP error message G3662 indicates that there is an issue with the Remote Function Call (RFC) destination in the SAP system. Specifically, it means that the infrastructure required for the RFC destination is not completely available. This can occur due to various reasons, such as network issues, configuration problems, or system resource limitations.

    Causes:

    1. Network Issues: There may be connectivity problems between the SAP system and the target system defined in the RFC destination.
    2. Configuration Errors: The RFC destination may not be configured correctly, such as incorrect login credentials, incorrect target system details, or missing parameters.
    3. System Resource Limitations: The target system may be down, overloaded, or experiencing resource constraints (e.g., memory, CPU).
    4. Authorization Issues: The user credentials used in the RFC destination may not have the necessary authorizations to access the target system.
    5. Firewall or Security Settings: Firewalls or security settings may be blocking the communication between the systems.

    Solutions:

    1. Check Network Connectivity: Ensure that the network connection between the SAP system and the target system is stable and operational. You can use tools like ping or traceroute to test connectivity.
    2. Verify RFC Destination Configuration:
      • Go to transaction SM59 in the SAP GUI.
      • Check the configuration of the RFC destination in question.
      • Ensure that the connection type, target host, and system number are correctly set.
      • Test the connection using the "Connection Test" button in the RFC destination settings.
    3. Check System Status: Verify that the target system is up and running. If it is down, you may need to wait until it is back online.
    4. Review User Credentials: Ensure that the user credentials used in the RFC destination have the necessary authorizations to access the target system.
    5. Check Firewall and Security Settings: Ensure that there are no firewall rules or security settings that are blocking the communication between the two systems.
    6. Review Logs: Check the system logs (transaction SM21) and the RFC logs (transaction SM58) for any additional error messages or clues that may help diagnose the issue.
