  • What causes this issue?

    During the software upgrade, the system automatically converts the data
    type of the scope of reported data for equity consolidation (domain
    FC_DTEQI in the ABAP Data Dictionary) from NUMC ("numerical character")
    to CHAR ("character"). This means that after the software upgrade in the
    target release, you can define more than 10 scopes of reported data for
    equity consolidation and use them for entering additional financial data
    for equity holdings adjustment as well as for processing in
    consolidation of investments.
    When converting the data type for equity consolidation in connection
    with adjusting an ABAP program for system texts, a technical error
    occurred.

    System Response

    After conversion of the data type, the system could <ZH>not</> adjust
    the ABAP program for system texts.

    How to fix this error?

    Start program S4_XPRA_ECCS_S4GR_EHA_SCOPE manually (by using transaction
    SA38).

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
