Message class: FSH_MM_COMMON -
Message number: 420
Message text: This functionality is available only with small range material
When you select documents based on an article or when you execute a
report, you may need to enter a Generic Article. In the Standard Retail
environment, when you enter a generic article in this field, you select
the documents containing both the generic article and its variants and
display them. If you want to display the documents containing only the
variants of the generic article, then you must append a wildcard search
symbol ?*? to the generic article to get the documents associated with
the variants.
You select this checkbox to enter the generic article number without a
?*? and then execute the report. The output screen displays the search
results with the documents relevant to the entered generic article and
also the documents that contain only the variants of the same generic
article.
As the above functionality results in resolving the material list from
Generic article to Generic article and variants<(>,<)> this
functionality is supported only with a small set of articles.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
You need to ensure the material range entered results in a small set of
materials.
