Message text: System could not determine composition for substance &1 of formula &2
You want to calculate the ingredients for an output substance in a
formula. Starting with the formula of the output substance, the system
performs an explosion over several levels and evaluates it
according to
the settings in the system. The composition for the output
substance is calculated using the composition of the (real) substances
that were found. The system determines the composition of the
substances found from Customizing for <LS>Formulas</> in the
<DS:TX.RMS_IMG_ENVPARA-COMP_STOP>FRML_COMP_STOP_SUBCAT</> (Generation of
the <LS>Composition</> view: substance types that cannot be exploded
any further) environment parameter.
The system could not determine the composition for substance &V1& of
formula &V2&.
Missing data is communicated to the application.

Cause:
Missing Substance Data: The substance referenced in the error message may not have been defined correctly in the system. This could mean that the substance is not set up in the material master or lacks the necessary data for composition determination.
Incomplete Formula Definition: The formula itself may not be fully defined, or there may be missing components or incorrect relationships between substances.
Incorrect Configuration: There may be issues with the configuration settings related to formula management, such as missing or incorrect settings in the relevant customizing tables.
Data Inconsistencies: There could be inconsistencies in the data, such as incorrect units of measure or invalid substance classifications.
Solution:
Check Substance Definition: Verify that the substance (&1) is correctly defined in the system. Ensure that all necessary data, such as composition, properties, and classifications, are properly maintained in the material master.
Review Formula Setup: Examine the formula (&2) to ensure that all components are correctly defined and that there are no missing or incorrect entries. Make sure that the relationships between the substances are valid.
Configuration Review: Check the configuration settings related to formula management in SAP. Ensure that all necessary customizing settings are in place and that there are no missing entries in relevant tables.
