Message text: Explosion scope &2: Formula view &1 is not included in explosion
In Customizing for <LS>Recipe Management</>, you can specify that in
formula explosion the system stops exploding at certain components and
replaces the component with a composition that you created manually in
the formula. You can define which composition this is separately, that
is which formula view the system determines the composition from, for
formulas with standard reactions, formulas with formula-specific
reactions, and formulas without reactions.
Here you can choose the following default formula views for the
individual explosion scopes:
INCLUDE RMS_FORMULA_VIEWS_FOR_COMP OBJECT DOKU ID TX
In Customizing, the formula &V1& was specified for the explosion scope
&V2&. It is not included in this table and is therefore not supported.
A composition of the formula from the formula view &V1& is <ZH>not</>
taken into account in formula explosion.
INCLUDE RMS_GEN_ADMIN OBJECT DOKU ID TX
INCLUDE RMS_GEN_CHECK_RMS_CUSTOM OBJECT DOKU ID TX

- Explosion scope &2: Formula view &1 is not included in explosion ?The SAP error message FRMLAPI218 indicates that there is an issue with the formula view in the context of a bill of materials (BOM) explosion. Specifically, it means that the formula view you are trying to use is not included in the explosion scope defined for the particular operation or process.
Cause:
- Formula View Not Included: The formula view specified in the error message is not part of the explosion scope defined in the configuration. This could happen if the formula view was not properly set up or if it was excluded from the relevant explosion settings.
- Configuration Issues: There may be issues in the configuration of the formula or the explosion settings in the system.
- Data Inconsistencies: There could be inconsistencies in the data related to the formula or the materials involved in the explosion.
Solution:
- Check Formula View Configuration: Verify that the formula view (&1) is correctly configured and included in the explosion scope (&2). You may need to adjust the settings in the relevant configuration transaction (e.g., C223 for formula management).
- Update Explosion Scope: If the formula view is not included in the explosion scope, you will need to add it. This can typically be done in the configuration settings for the BOM or formula management.
- Review BOM Settings: Ensure that the BOM settings are correctly defined and that the formula view is linked to the appropriate BOM items.
- Data Validation: Check for any inconsistencies in the data related to the formula and the materials. Ensure that all necessary data is correctly maintained in the system.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidance on managing formula views and explosion settings.
