FKKINFCO083
- Cannot display; entry data was deleted by archiving ?The SAP error message FKKINFCO083 indicates that the system cannot display certain entry data because it has been deleted through the archiving process. This typically occurs in the context of SAP's Financial Accounting (FI) and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) modules, where data is archived to improve system performance and manage data volume.
Cause:
The primary cause of this error is that the data you are trying to access has been archived. Archiving is a process in SAP that moves data from the database to an archive storage to free up space and improve performance. Once data is archived, it is no longer available in the active database, and attempts to access it will result in this error message.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, you can consider the following options:
Check Archive Status: Verify if the data you are trying to access has indeed been archived. You can do this by checking the archive management transactions in SAP, such as SARA (Archive Administration).
Access Archived Data: If you need to access the archived data, you can use the archive information system (transaction SARI) to view or retrieve archived data. This allows you to access the information without needing to restore it to the active database.
Restore Data: If it is necessary to have the data available in the active database, you may need to restore it from the archive. This process can be complex and should be done with caution, as it may affect system performance and data integrity.
Review Archiving Policies: If you frequently encounter this issue, it may be worth reviewing your archiving policies and procedures. Ensure that the archiving process aligns with your business needs and that critical data is retained for the required duration.
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for more detailed instructions on managing archived data and understanding the implications of archiving.
