SPRO -> SAP Reference IMG -> Financial Accounting (New) -> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable -> Contract Management -> Define Number Ranges for Contracts

Assign Number Range to Contract Type:
- In the same configuration area, check if the number range is assigned to the correct contract type.
- If not, assign the appropriate number range to the contract type.
Activate Number Range:

Verify Company Code:
- Double-check that you are using the correct company code when creating the contract. If the company code is incorrect, switch to the correct one.
