Message text: Sales prices for &1 not in buffer; check last buffer run
In Perishables Procurement Customizing, the buffering of sales prices is
switched on. However, the system could not find sales prices for the
plant &V1& from &V2& until &V3&.
The system reads the required data using the regular backend
functionality, which is usually more time consuming than reading from
the buffer tables.
Check the job log or error protocol of the last buffer run for the sales
prices.
Check if the time interval &V2& until &V3& was covered by the last
buffer run.
Check if there are sales prices for the plant &V1& from &V2& until &V3&
for your materials.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Sales prices for &1 not in buffer; check last buffer run ?The SAP error message "FIP_BL_MESSAGE_CLASS076: Sales prices for &1 not in buffer; check last buffer run" typically indicates that the system is unable to find the sales prices for a specific material or product in the buffer. This can occur in scenarios where the pricing data is not loaded into the buffer, which is necessary for efficient access and processing.
Cause:
- Buffer Not Updated: The pricing data for the specified material has not been loaded into the buffer. This can happen if the last buffer run did not complete successfully or if it was not executed at all.
- Data Changes: If there have been recent changes to the pricing data (e.g., new prices added, existing prices modified), the buffer may not reflect these changes until it is refreshed.
- Configuration Issues: There may be configuration issues in the pricing procedure or the way the buffer is set up in the system.
Solution:
- Check Buffer Status: Verify the status of the pricing buffer. You can do this by checking the transaction codes related to pricing buffer management (e.g.,
V/BB
for buffer management).- Run Buffer Update: Execute the buffer update process to refresh the pricing data. This can typically be done through transaction codes like
V/BB
orV/BA
depending on your SAP version and configuration.- Review Logs: Check the logs for the last buffer run to identify any errors or warnings that may have occurred during the update process.
- Reconfigure Pricing: If the issue persists, review the configuration of the pricing procedure and ensure that all necessary settings are correctly defined.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific instructions related to your version of SAP and the pricing module you are using.
