  • What causes this issue?

    The CDS views for balance carry forward were not up to date, therefore
    the system tried to regenerate them.
    Unfortunately some errors occurred when trying to regenerate these CDS
    views.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Please have a look at the errors in the application log with transaction
    SLG1 for Object FINS, Subobject FINS_GENERATE and External ID SAPFGLBCF
    to find the root cause for the problem.

    If the root cause for the problem is removed, please start the balance
    carry forward program again which will regenerate the CDS views
    automatically.
