Message text: Error in planning function definition
The planning function &V2& contains too many block characteristics.
A planning function of type 'Cost Simulation' (/ERP/SFIN_FT01) allows a
maximum of &V1& block characteristics.
Block characteristics are characteristics in the aggregation level,
which are not marked as 'Fields to be changed' in the planning function.
You have to set the To Be Changed flag for the characteristic
'Debit/Credit Indicator CO' (/ERP/DCINDCO) and for the characteristics
maintained in the planning function parameters:
'Characteristic for GL Account'
'Characteristics for Cost Objects & Partner Objects'
,,'Unit Characteristic associated to the Allocation Factor
Characteristic'
Unless the planning function parameter 'Characteristic for GL Account'
is maintained, the system tries to use default characteristic
/ERP/GL_ACCT, which has to be contained in the aggregation level. In
this case you have to set the To Be Changed flag for this
characteristic.
Unless the tabular planning function parameter 'Characteristics for Cost
Objects & Partner Objects' is maintained, the system tries to determine
pairs of Cost Object / Partner Object characteristics dynamically by
looking for pairs of characteristics in the aggregation level, where one
characteristic is defined 'by reference' referring to the other
characteristic.
For example, if the aggregation level contains characteristics
/ERP/COSTCNTR and /ERP/PCOSTCTR, /ERP/COSTCNTR is recognized by the
system as the Cost Object characteristic and /ERP/PCOSTCTR as the
Partner Object characteristic, because /ERP/PCOSTCTR is defined 'by
reference' referring to /ERP/COSTCNTR.
In this case you have to set the To Be Changed flag for such
characteristics.
If this error occurs either the To Be Changed flags are not set as
required by the planning function type or the aggregation level contains
to many fields.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Ensure that the aggregation level and the planning function are defined
correctly.
