    To avoid having to enter that controlling area over and over again, you
    must specify your controlling area in your default values.

    analytical apps for management accounting won't work and trigger this
    error message.

    How to fix this error?

    Click the user icon in the upper left hand corner to switch to the
    <ZH>Me Area</>.
    Choose <LS>Settings </>and then <LS>Default Values</>.
    Enter your controlling area as default value in the corresponding field.
    This action needs to be done once only, but it needs to be done
    separately by each controller.
