This typically occurs in the context of asset accounting or financial transactions where the system is trying to process data that conflicts with the defined takeover date for an asset or item.

    Cause:

    1. Legacy Data: The error arises when there is existing legacy data (historical transactions or records) for the asset/item that has a date later than the specified takeover date. The takeover date is the point in time from which the system should start processing new data.

    2. Adjust Takeover Date: If the legacy data is valid and should be retained, consider adjusting the takeover date to a point before the latest legacy record.
    3. Data Cleanup: If the legacy data is not needed, you may need to delete or archive the records that are causing the conflict.
    4. Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or consult with your SAP support team to understand the implications of changing the takeover date or deleting legacy data.
