    However, during the reorganization in period &V2&, postings can only be
    made to Controlling with business transaction &V1& (technical name: &V3&
    ) when this transaction is locked for all prior periods.
    &EXAMPLE&:
    Periodic CO settlement must already be closed for all prior periods
    before settlement can occur in period &V2&.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Ensure that transaction &V1& is closed for the prior periods mentioned
    and is then locked in transaction <LS>Change Period Lock</> (<AB>OKP1</>
    ).
    The transaction can then be made in period &V2&.
