Message text: Arbitrary relation to ODP &1, semantics &2: Full key supplied
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
ENDTOPThe relation (association, composition) is defined with the cardinality
<LS>Arbitrary</>.
However, the foreign key dependency supplies all key fields of the
associated operational data provider (ODP).
The relation cannot be considered in the context of ODPs. Therefore the
relation will not be available in an analytic query that is defined on
TransientProvider for an affected ODP. In addition, it will not be
visible in the TransientProvider preview for the ODP.
Check if the cardinality should be changed to <LS>Exactly One</> or
<LS>Up to One</>.
In general, follow the rules for creating valid relations for ODP
purposes in the SAP Library documentation.

ESH_OM_OBJ_MODEL_ODP026
- Arbitrary relation to ODP &1, semantics &2: Full key supplied ?The SAP error message ESH_OM_OBJ_MODEL_ODP026 typically occurs in the context of the SAP Enterprise Search or SAP HANA when there is an issue with the object model or the way data is being queried or related. This error indicates that there is an arbitrary relation to an ODP (Operational Data Provisioning) object, and it suggests that a full key has been supplied, which may not be appropriate for the context.
Cause:
- Incorrect Data Model Configuration: The error may arise if the data model is not correctly configured, leading to an arbitrary relationship between objects.
- Inconsistent Key Usage: Supplying a full key when the system expects a partial key or a different format can trigger this error.
- Semantic Mismatch: The semantics of the data being queried may not align with the expected semantics defined in the ODP.
- Data Source Issues: There may be issues with the data source or the way data is being extracted or transformed.
Solution:
- Check Data Model Configuration: Review the configuration of the object model in the SAP system. Ensure that the relationships between objects are correctly defined and that there are no arbitrary or unintended relationships.
- Verify Key Usage: Ensure that the keys being supplied in your queries or data operations are appropriate for the context. If a full key is not required, consider using a partial key or adjusting the query accordingly.
- Review Semantic Definitions: Check the semantic definitions associated with the ODP and ensure that they match the data being processed. Adjust the semantics if necessary to align with the data.
- Data Source Validation: Validate the data source and ensure that it is correctly set up and that the data being extracted is in the expected format.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to the specific version of the software you are using for any known issues or additional troubleshooting steps.
