SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: EMDUS -

  • Message number: 124

  • Message text: Result parameter &1 can only be used with the total quantity

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The parameter mentioned in the error message can only be defined on the
    <LS>Time-of-Use Periods</> tab page under <LS>Total Quantity</>.
However, the system has established that this parameter is also used in
    other time-of-use periods.
Multiple use of parameters can lead to the following inconsistencies:
During billing of profile values in the external system, the <LS>total
quantity</> is used as the basis for simulation using a synthetic
profile. If the parameter for the total quantity is not defined
uniquely, a normed synthetic profile cannot be correctly scaled on the
    basis of the consumption.
During TOU exception billing, a billing period can be partially replaced
by an exception period. The result parameters determined in an exception
period are processed using different billing rules. You can only use
standard billing rules with the <LS>total quantity</>, meaning that you
do not observe the exception period for all result parameters under this
total quantity. If the total quantity is not defined uniquely, this
    option is no longer possible.

    System Response

The TOU interface has not been defined consistently.

    How to fix this error?

Define a unique result parameter for the TOU period under <LS>Total
    Quantity</>.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
