  • What causes this issue?

    You attempted to maintain or display import data in an MM document.
    This is not possible for one of the following reasons:
    In the import screen control in the purchasing document, the system is
    set so that no import data can be maintained in this particular
    business situation.
    If you are currently in display mode, it could be that there is no
    import data maintained for the current document. In this case, no
    'EXNUM' has been assigned. The 'EXNUM' is a number that the system
    automatically enters in the document and is related to foreign trade
    data.

    System Response

    The system responds with a message.

    How to fix this error?

    For case 1,
    If you are authorized to do so, you can maintain the Implementation
    Guide foreign trade activity <DS:TRAN.OMGT>Control of Import Data
    Screens</>.
    For case 2,
    Switch to change mode and maintain the necessary data on header or item
    level.
