One composition in the product structure contains different material
categories. The IMDS does not allow such structures.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Note:
Basic materials and surfaces are both handled by the IMDS system as
object type <ZH>material</>. Therefore basic materials and surfaces can
be stored on the same level in the SAP system.
Products and Bulks can exist on the same level in the SAP system. During
the XML generation for IMDS, a dummy node is inserted for the bulk. The
dummy node has the material category product and product part (MAT_PART)
and consists of the bulk.
Example, when working with bulk:
