What causes this issue?

The system has not yet received confirmation that customer notification
has been succesfully carried out.

System Response

The system cannot remotely disconnect a device unless a customer
notification workitem is completed.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Complete the notification workitem by contacting the customer and
informing him or her of the upcoming disconnection. You can access the
notification by clicking the workitem icon (telephone). Note however
that customer notification is typically carried out in a CRM system.
