    You have attempted to create a material in IS-U for which no reference
    exists.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Create a material master in Materials Management.
    To do this, choose <LS>Logistics -> Materials management -> Create
    material</>, then <LS>Material -> Create (general) -> Immediately</>.
    Enter the required basic data, the plant, the storage location and the
    serial numbe profile.
    Enter a short text for the material.
    Enter the number of the material, the plant and the storage location in
    Customizing for <LS>Device Management</> in the help table for material
    references.
    You must create a material reference in Materials Management for each
    client.
