Message text: Unit of measure &1 is not valid
You selected a spare part with unit of measure &V1& and copied it to the
list. The system could not verify this unit of measure as a valid entry.
If a material master record is assigned to the selected spare part
<(>,<)> the system copies the material to the list and replaces the unit
of measure &V1& with the base unit of measure of the material.
If the spare part is not assigned to a material master record and you
have not selected this spare part before, the system adds the spare part
to the list and replaces the unit of measure &V1& with ISO code <LS>PCE
</>.
If the spare part is not assigned to a material master record and the
same spare part is already in the list, the system adds up the
quantities and replaces the unit of measure &V1& with the unit of
measure of the spare part in the list.
Check the quantities and unit of measure of the materials of the
order/task list.

- Configuration Settings: If you have access, check the configuration settings for units of measure in the SAP system. This can be done through transaction SPRO:
- Navigate to Logistics > General > Material Master > Settings for Key Fields > Define Units of Measure.
- Create or Update UoM: If the unit of measure does not exist, you may need to create it using transaction code CUNI (Maintain Units of Measure).
