Message text: Task list of this type already created
You want to create another task list of the same type (a general
maintenance task list, a task list for equipment or for a functional
location) on the <ZK>Operation Data</> tab of a maintenance order.
However, this is not possible because you have already created a task
list of this type by choosing the pushbutton <ZK>Create Task List</>.
The system does not create another task list of the same type in the
same session.
When you create tasks lists while working on a maintenance order, you
can only create one task list of each type during a session. The system
proposes the task list type on the popup <ZK>Create New Task List</>.
You have the following options:
You can create a task list of a different type.
You can leave the order and open it again in a new session. Then you can
create another task list of the same type.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

EAMS_BO276
- Task list of this type already created ?The SAP error message EAMS_BO276, which states "Task list of this type already created," typically occurs in the context of the SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) module. This error indicates that there is an attempt to create a task list that already exists in the system for the specified criteria.
Cause:
- Duplicate Task List: The most common cause of this error is that a task list of the same type (e.g., maintenance task list, equipment task list) has already been created for the same object or criteria.
- Incorrect Input: The user may be trying to create a task list with parameters that match an existing one, such as the same equipment, functional location, or maintenance plan.
- System Configuration: There may be specific configurations or settings in the system that prevent the creation of multiple task lists of the same type for a given object.
Solution:
- Check Existing Task Lists: Before creating a new task list, check if a task list of the same type already exists. You can do this by navigating to the relevant transaction (e.g., IL01 for task lists) and searching for existing entries.
- Modify Existing Task List: If a task list already exists and you need to make changes, consider modifying the existing task list instead of creating a new one.
- Use Different Parameters: If you need to create a new task list, ensure that you are using different parameters or criteria that do not match any existing task lists.
- Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or help files related to task list creation to ensure you are following the correct procedures.
- Check Authorizations: Ensure that you have the necessary authorizations to create task lists in the system, as sometimes restrictions can lead to unexpected errors.
