  • What causes this issue?

The <ZK>IS-U</> component (utilities industry) uses the functional
location technology from the <ZK>PM</> standard component (plant
maintenance) to map device locations and connection objects.
One difference for IS-U objects is that an address is always mandatory.
This address is either stored individually together with the object, or
it is inherited from the higher-level functional location. For the
device location, this is usually the connection object.

    System Response

This action results in the IS-U object losing its address. Previously
this was either maintained directly or it was inherited, and you
executed one of the following actions:
Delete the allocation to the higher-level object
Delete the address of the higher-level object
Allocate a different object, which does not have an address.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Create an individual address or allocate a different object with an
    existing address.
