technical reasons, all report trees must have at least a root node.

1. If you really want to delete all of the nodes but retain the tree,
use the 'Delete nodes' function to delete all nodes below the root
node. You can also delete the contents of the root node if necessary.
2. If you want to delete the tree, start Transaction SERP, enter the
name of the tree and choose 'Delete'. The entire tree is deleted (all
nodes, user-specific settings, lists saved in nodes, customer-specific
texts in nodes).
