DBMAN027
- Data deleted from InfoProvider &1. Read request cannot be executed. ?The SAP error message DBMAN027 indicates that data has been deleted from the specified InfoProvider, which prevents the execution of a read request. This typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP BI (Business Intelligence) when trying to access data that is no longer available in the InfoProvider.
Cause:
- Data Deletion: The most common cause is that data has been deleted from the InfoProvider (e.g., an InfoCube, DataStore Object, or InfoObject) either manually or through a data management process (like data archiving or data deletion jobs).
- Data Load Issues: If there was an issue during the data load process, it might have resulted in incomplete or missing data.
- Data Retention Policies: Some systems have data retention policies that automatically delete old data after a certain period.
- Incorrect Request: The read request might be referencing a data request that has been deleted or is not available.
Solution:
- Check Data Availability: Verify if the data is indeed deleted from the InfoProvider. You can do this by checking the relevant InfoProvider in the SAP BW system.
- Reprocess Data: If the data was deleted unintentionally, you may need to reload the data from the source system. This can be done by executing the data load process again.
- Review Data Management Jobs: Check if there are any scheduled jobs that might have deleted the data. If so, you may need to adjust the job settings or the data retention policies.
- Check for Errors in Data Load: If the data load process encountered errors, resolve those issues and re-execute the data load.
- Consult Logs: Review the application logs and process chains for any errors or warnings that might provide more context on why the data is missing.
