    On the configuration profile detail screen, if you determine that the
    BOM of the material is to be displayed as an order BOM, you have to
    enter an application for controlling the BOM explosion.
    The different areas within a company (such as sales, costing, and so
    on) define procedures (applications) for exploding BOMs according to
    application-specific criteria.
