    Template Designer for a MS Word template as well as the usage of the MS
    Word templates at run time (via button "New with Template") require that
    ActiveX is enabled in the browser.
    Template Designer for a PDF template does not necessarily require
    ActiveX: If ActiveX is enabled, the Adobe Life Cycle Designer is started
    when pressing button "Start Designer", if ActiveX is not enabled, Adobe
    Life Cycle Designer can be started manually on the computer. At runtime
    the PDF Template does not require that ActiveX is enabled.

    System Response

    Design Time: Word is not opened in the Template Designer after pressing
    button "Start Designer".
    or
    Run Time: Word is not opened in an overview page, attachment assignment
    block after pressing button "New with Template" and choosing an existing
    template from the popup.

    How to fix this error?

    The following browser settings (security settings) must be activated
    for "Local Intranet":
    Active Scripting
    Run Active X Controls and plug-ins
    Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe
