possible for the selected process.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Choose an exercise date that is equal to or later than the start date
of the old financing item.

The error occurs in the following case:
You are processing a lease for 10 high-end servers with a start date of
01/01/2002 and 12 monthly installments. Two of these servers were
terminated early in a change process as of 04/01/2002. Therefore, the
item with the remaining quantity of 8 units involves 3 monthly
installments that are flagged as settled in the lease and 9 monthly
installments from 04/01/2002 that can be changed.
You now want to enter early termination for an additional 3 units in
the lease and enter 03/01/2002 as the change date. However, this date
lies before the first monthly installment that is not flagged as
settled, and is therefore not valid. You cannot terminate the servers
until 04/01/2002 at the earliest. Alternatively, you could have
performed a contract split during the first change process. You can
also undo the process.
