  • What causes this issue?

    There are two different possible causes:
    A case of this case type cannot contain any documents at all.
    The number of documents is restricted in the record model and the limit
    is reached.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    In case of a restricted number of documents you have to delete one or
    more documents already linked to the case before you can add new ones.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    If the case record is not customized to contain any documents at all but
    is expected to, the system administrator has to extend the record model.
    If the number of documents is restricted by error, the record model has
    to be changed (cardinality of model nodes).
