Message text: Original batch &1 from production order differs from OB &2 of component
A goods issue for a production or process order is being posted. In the
process, the system detects that the original batch &v1& is assigned to
the production or process order. A different original batch (&v2&) is
assigned to the component currently being checked, the material of the
original batch being the same.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
You can specify in Customizing whether a warning or error message is to
be issued (<DS:TRAN.OMILL_T160M>Message Control</>).
If you ignore the message, a batch that prevents batch purity (in the
sense of the original batch) will be used as a component for production.
Check whether this is admissible.

- Going to the production order in transaction code CO02 (Change Production Order).
- Updating the component's batch information to match the original batch specified in the order.
- Recreate Production Order: If the discrepancies are significant and cannot be resolved, consider canceling the current production order and creating a new one with the correct batch information.
- Consult Batch Management Settings: Review the batch management settings in your SAP system to ensure they align with your business processes. This may involve consulting with your SAP administrator or functional consultant.
