Message text: Check the Customizing for business objects
A delta indexing was executed by the search engine service. Some change
pointers could not be processed and were left over.
This can have the following reasons:
Indexing for the business objects and object types in question is not
active.
The business objects and object types in question are not defined in
Customizing.
If your system contains a large number of change pointers that are never
processed, this can adversely affect system performance.
Contact your system administrators.
The change pointers of the search engine service are stored in the
database tables COM_SE_CPOINTER and COM_SE_CPOINTER2. They can be
analyzed using the data browser (transaction SE16). To select change
pointers that have not been processed, set STATE = 1 on the selection
screen.
To access the Customizing for the business objects, use transaction
<DS:TRAN.SES_ADMIN>SES_ADMIN</> and go to <LS>Goto -> Customizing
</>.
Indexing for an object type can also be activated in the transaction
SES_ADMIN. To do this, choose <LS>Index -> Create/Activate Indexes
</>.
You can delete obsolete change pointers in transaction SES_ADMIN
using <LS>Utilities</>.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
