What causes this issue?

The material type you have entered for the retail material is not
defined in the OLTP System. The product cannot be transferred to the
OLTP System with the material type &V1&.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Use the possible entries button to choose a valid material type.
Note that for service products and financing products you can only
enter service material types (DIEN and material types derived from
this).
