  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The program had to adjust an automatically generated one-to-one mapping
    &V1& -> &V2&.

    System Response

The system generates one-to-one mapping values to resolve a problem of
duplicate numbers. It maps one of the duplicate numbers to the first
free number in the target number range interval. Since new numbers are
constantly created in the productive system, it is possible that a
previously used target number is no longer available. In this case, the
system has to adjust the mapping and choose the first free number in the
    target number range interval again.

    How to fix this error?

Check the generated mapping values. You can correct it and select
another target number. Note, that in this case the system will not do
    any automatic adjustments anymore.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

      • If necessary, modify the transformation rules to ensure that the target values are generated as expected.
      • This may involve changing how certain fields are populated or ensuring that the correct logic is applied during the migration.
    5. Test Migration:

      • Conduct a test migration with a smaller dataset to identify and resolve issues before performing a full migration.
      • This can help isolate the problem and allow for adjustments without impacting the entire dataset.
