  • What causes this issue?

You have tried to execute a program that uses the function module
FILE_VALIDATE_NAME. The function module FILE_VALIDATE_NAME is a security
check that is required to check file names supplied by the program
against potential directory traversals. Your current settings do not
allow this function module to be called. The system therefore returns an
    error.

    System Response

The system throws the exception UNCHECKED_FILE_NAME.

    How to fix this error?

You must adjust your system settings so that the function module
FILE_VALIDATE_NAME can be used. To do this, proceed as follows:
Apply SAP Note 1497003. This SAP Note contains the function module
FILE_VALIDATE_NAME, and detailed instructions about how to implement the
    function module.
If you are unable to implement this function module by using SAP Note
147003, you can ignore this error by skipping the security check.
However, we strongly recommend that you implement SAP Note 1497003, as
taking this action must be viewed as a potential security risk.
To skip the security check (not recommended), proceed as follows:
    Open transaction SM30
    Open table CNV_SEC_PARAMS
Set the value of the field 'Security Parameter ID' to TRUE

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
