Table GRIX_SEL contains Report Writer information (selection parameters
    for stored data).
Report Writer definitions can contain cost elements (KSTAR) or G/L
    accounts.
These are stored in table GRIX_SEL in the fields LOW / HIGH.
In order to consistently convert a G/L account/cost element it is
essential that the organizational unit - to which the G/L account/cost

Due to the complexity of such reports, it is sometimes not possible to
determine the organizational unit. In these cases it is not possible to
    convert the field.

This error typically occurs in the context of data migration or conversion projects, particularly when using SAP's tools for data transfer, such as the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit or other data migration tools.

    Cause:

    1. Missing Organizational Unit: The most common cause of this error is that the organizational unit (e.g., company code, plant, sales organization) referenced in the data being converted does not exist in the target system.
    2. Incorrect Mapping: There may be an issue with the mapping of organizational units from the source system to the target system, leading to references to non-existent units.

    4. Configuration Issues: The target system may not be properly configured to include the necessary organizational units.

    Solution:

    1. Verify Organizational Units: Check the target system to ensure that the required organizational units exist. You can do this by navigating to the relevant configuration areas in SAP (e.g., SPRO) and confirming that the units are set up correctly.
    2. Data Mapping Review: Review the mapping of data from the source to the target system. Ensure that all organizational units in the source data have corresponding units in the target system.
    3. Data Cleansing: If the source data contains invalid references, consider cleansing the data before migration. This may involve removing or correcting records that reference non-existent organizational units.
    4. Adjust Migration Settings: If applicable, adjust the settings in the migration tool to handle missing organizational units appropriately, such as skipping records or providing default values.
    5. Consult Documentation: Refer to the SAP documentation related to the specific migration tool you are using for any additional troubleshooting steps or configuration requirements.
