- More than one CoA is converted; CoA-independent mapping is not unique ?The SAP error message CNV_20100363 indicates that during a conversion process, more than one Chart of Accounts (CoA) is being converted, and the mapping that is supposed to be CoA-independent is not unique. This typically occurs in the context of data migration or conversion projects, particularly when using SAP's Conversion Tools.
Cause:
- Multiple CoAs: The system has detected that there are multiple CoAs involved in the conversion process, and the mapping for certain accounts is ambiguous or not clearly defined.
- Non-unique Mapping: The mapping rules defined for the accounts do not uniquely identify which account should be used for the conversion, leading to confusion in the conversion logic.
- Configuration Issues: There may be issues in the configuration of the mapping tables or the way the CoAs are set up in the system.
Solution:
- Review Mapping Configuration: Check the mapping configuration for the CoAs involved. Ensure that each account has a unique mapping and that there are no overlaps or ambiguities.
- Define Unique Mappings: If there are multiple accounts that could be mapped to the same target account, you need to define clear and unique mappings for each scenario.
- Check CoA Settings: Verify the settings for the CoAs in the system. Ensure that they are correctly configured and that there are no inconsistencies.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to the SAP documentation related to the specific conversion tool you are using. There may be guidelines or best practices for handling multiple CoAs.
- Testing: After making changes, conduct thorough testing to ensure that the mappings work as expected and that the error does not recur.
