  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

More than one chart of accounts is converted.
The chart of accounts dependent mapping for accounts and cost elements
    is ambiguous (not unique).
This means, that in the mapping e.g. the old account number &V1& exists
twice in (at least) the two conversion relevant charts of accounts &V2&
and is converted into the different target accounts &V3& and &V4&.

    System Response

    Warning

    How to fix this error?

During the conversion of individual tables or table fields without
predefined derivation of organizational units, it is not possible to
correctly convert those ambigious accounts, as the related chart of
    accounts can not be identified.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

In these cases, the system outputs a warning message and the source
    value is not converted.
    &ADDITIONAL_HINTS&
In contrary for unique accounts, means accounts which do only exist once
in the mapping the following logic applies:
During the conversion of individual tables or table fields without
predefined derivation of organizational units, unique accounts will be
converted based on the mapping entry.
It is assumed that the old value belongs to the chart of accounts
specified in the mapping for this value.
If the old value also exists in non-participating chart of accounts a
warning is thrown in the log of the table

    Solution:

    1. Review Mapping Configuration: Check the mapping configuration for the CoAs involved. Ensure that each account has a unique mapping and that there are no overlaps or ambiguities.
    2. Define Unique Mappings: If there are multiple accounts that could be mapped to the same target account, you need to define clear and unique mappings for each scenario.
    3. Check CoA Settings: Verify the settings for the CoAs in the system. Ensure that they are correctly configured and that there are no inconsistencies.
    4. Consult Documentation: Refer to the SAP documentation related to the specific conversion tool you are using. There may be guidelines or best practices for handling multiple CoAs.
